Hey Citron, what's with the name?
People are constantly asking us about our name. So, to put that topic to bed, once and for all, here’s the thinking behind that lemon. Literally.
All citrus fruit has a rind or protective skin. The rind is designed to protect the delicate fruit housed inside from disease, pests, and other harmful elements.
Unlike it’s close cousin the lemon, a Citron distinguishes itself from other Citrea by having an extra thick rind or skin. It’s this added layer of protection that struck our fancy. Like the fruit that bears our name, we work overtime to give companies that extra layer of protection. Drop the mic!
